Saw the recommendations on line so I brought the whole family along to try. We ordered quite a few items (different selections) and we all would say that everything impressed us. Highlight was my Wife ordered the classic burger and when she gave me a taste it was like going back in time when the burgers were fresh, and had that old fashioned taste “like a burger should taste”. I’ll be back for my own haha. I still couldn’t complain with my tot dog, fried pickles or loaded fries. Everything we ordered was really good. Top it off with the house yea and your dialed in for a good time with good eats .

Absolutely blown away by the amazing hot dogs and impressive beer selection here at The Dogfather in San Antonio! The flavors are out of this world—these hot dogs are truly unbelievable! If you’re a foodie or just looking for a great bite, this spot is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Wanted to celebrate the end of my school year so I came down to The Dogfather for the first time. Staff is friendly and the food is good. I got the Dog of the Week (which was Diablo Dogs) and a full order of curly fries. The dogs were excellent. The curly fries are great and very crispy, but I could've gone with just a half order since they actually gave more than I was expecting. Will see if I can bring some friends next time.

all around! Absolute banger of a restaurant. Great variety of options and very inclusive with the vegan and vegetarian options! Creative & extensive menu. Also, the staff were super friendly and quick with the service. I especially love that they are moving away from 3rd-party delivery apps as their food is meant to be enjoyed hot and fresh Great selection of sodas and drinks as well. Definitely recommend when in SATX!

Looking for unique, delicious hot dogs? Stop in here! They have some absolutely different hot dogs and they are so tasty. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is outstanding and good size portions. The atmosphere is so relaxed and casual. We will be back! Please be aware that this location is on the smaller size with only 3 tables and a 4 seat bar inside, so it may be worth stopping in at a non-peak time. There is a larger outdoor seating area - weather permitting. Really cool place!

Came here with my dad and my uncle. We're only in town for a week and we were looking for a place to eat and this is the first place we saw. Stellar service and the food was insane. I was recommended "The Stinger" with an egg added on top and it was the best hot dog I've ever had. Lots of creative choices, 100% recommend.

This place is top tier for SA eats FOR SURE! Kasie (I hope that’s her name) was the absolute bomb, gave us some great recommendations and advice about customizations available on all the dog options. Couldn’t have had a better customer service experience on top of the incredible dogs 1,000/10 would recommend

Our daughter wanted to try a new hot dog spot. The DogFather. The service was great. We love the hot dogs & the presentation. Plus the curly fries were delicious too. We will definitely go back real soon.
